Amideon have recently had a highly successful handover of one of our AS5660 Cryogenic Noise Standard Systems to our customer, the Shanghai Space Institute.

The AS5660 is a Millimetre Wave Primary Noise Standard covering the frequency range 18-170 GHz. It is convenient to use as a laboratory or transfer standard and provides performance exceeding world class primary standards. Excellent long term temperature stability allows for radiometric calibration applications. Detailed design is a key factor relating to achieving superior accuracy in our system. It can also be easily adapted to other frequency coverage by means of replaceable feedhorn assemblies. The design is well suited for the further extension of its operating frequencies well into the THz region.
